As a contemporary voice teacher and coach, Elly instills the fundamental techniques of singing and performance with a focus on developing healthy habits and building confidence. From the basics of posture, breathing, pitching and tone to the more involved topics of anatomy, vocal registers and performance anxiety, students are provided with valuable exercises and insights to develop their vocal abilities in a positive environment. Combining scientific understanding with a holistic approach to singing, Elly aims to minimise physical tension, maximise enjoyment and create a full connection with mind, body and spirit in all aspects of vocal discipline.
Since training at the Royal Northern College of Music, Elly has performed at many prestigious venues all around the world. In 2010 she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an educator and since then has taught privately and in schools, both one on one and in group sessions. Committed to lifelong learning, she is currently studying for a Professional Practice MA in Voice Pedagogy through Voice Workshop and UWTSD.
